No data collection
One Ayah (macOS app) and Un Verset (website) do not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Your reading preferences, position in the Quran and settings are saved only on your device.
Local storage
The macOS app uses UserDefaults to save your preferences locally. The website uses strictly necessary technical cookies (language preference, Arabic display). This data never leaves your device.
No user accounts
Our services do not require any registration or account creation. No personal identifier is requested or generated.
No tracking
We do not use any analytics tools, advertising trackers or third-party trackers. No information about your usage is transmitted to third parties.
Offline content
The entire Quranic text (6,236 verses in Arabic, English and French) is embedded in the app and website. No requests to external servers are needed to display verses.

We may update this policy. Changes will be published on this page with the update date.
